Edgar's Tavern - 1 Viewing Loud and filled with individuals who have decided to drink away their misfortune during this time, this tavern is constructed almost entirely of wood, with the exception of its walls of stone. A set of rickety stairs lead to the second level, where rooms may be rented for a fair sum. A giant hearth stands against the far wall, where a few sofas have been arranged. A violinist, cello player and the pianist perform on the small stage, where they play jigs to try and keep the atmosphere lively. Ask any of the barmaids or the tender at the counter for a drink. Miss Alice's Porridge House Wife of the tavern owner, Edgar, Miss Alice takes care of any customers in need of a hearty breakfast after a long night out. Solely open during the morning hours, she prepares just about everything for the early riser or night owl. Built in the fashion of a quaint cottage, she has arranged several dining tables in a circular pattern along the checkered floor. The scent of freshly brewed coffee fills the air as well as the sweet aroma of battered pancakes and maple. |

Chantry of Our Lady of Sorrows - 1 Viewing Constructed in the gothic style, this Church lies at the foot of the steep hill which leads to the Riddle house. It is a solemn place where many go to seek sanctuary during this dangerous time. The interior has a medieval atmosphere and many candles are regularly lit in prayer for the deliverance of all from the darkness that has settled over the village. Several monks reside here and they spend a great portion of the evening chanting their vespers. |

Market Shop - 1 Viewing For any general goods you might need, this little shop sells an array of groceries, supplies and clothing. This is where you will find most of the village's inhabitants during the busier times of the day. A few aisles comprise the interior while a single register stands in the front. |

Gaunt Way A wide path that winds through the compact buildings of the village. Lit only with a few streetlamps, it is not recommended that anyone venture out too long after nightfall. However, several can be found stumbling about after a rather lengthy evening spent at the tavern. |
