It was nearing the last days of summer, the bustle and activity of the earlier months dimming out a little as the season progressed towards it's inevitable close. It was this time of year that most reminded Rodolphus of the villa he and his younger brother had grown up on. Summertime in Perpignan, Southern France was beautiful, yet laid back. Quite unlike the summers of London, where tourists tended to amass in great hoards. He missed it at times, but knew that he wouldn't be able to achieve nearly as much from there. Perhaps one day he would return, once this was all behind him. However, with a small smirk, he knew that the decision was no longer solely his to make. His bride-to-be would have to want it as well.
Rodolphus walked along the street, the evening sun setting slowly ushering the cloak of nightfall. The lights were beginning to bring the city to life and he admired it as he moved in a thoroughly unhurried pace, designer shoes echoing off the pavement as he held his head high. The summer was tempered with an inviting breeze, making his stroll all the more enjoyable. He and Bellatrix had been very focused on the Dark Lord's cause lately, devoting themselves to it entirely and working to establish themselves as the valued members that they were. However, in doing so, they had put off simply spending as much time with one another. He considered that they probably hadn't done so since the proposal, and even that had been among a room full of their comrades.
This evening would more than make up for it though, Rodolphus was absolutely certain of it. How could it not? He and Bellatrix could easily go long periods of time primarily focusing on what needed to be done, simply standing by one another, and still thrive in their relationship. It had always been that way, even since they'd first started dating back in their 5th year. They had quickly discovered that it served to be all the more fulfilling whenever they actually did take the time to devote themselves to one another. The wait enhanced it; deepened it. As with the summer wine his family had always enjoyed on their villa- --wine-making being a favorite hobby of his grandfather's---the longer the wait, the finer the taste. The stronger and more robust it became, drawing out all of those subtle, yet complex flavors. They could savor and enjoy one another to a fuller extent. They had more to discuss; more to offer one another in just about every aspect.
Tonight he would take her out on an old-fashioned date. Among Muggles, yes, but why not walk among those lesser individuals? Why not make an impression? A grand, exquisite statement together? It was a joy all in itself. He only hoped the Mexican cuisine would measure up in some small way to what he always enjoyed in Mexico itself. His expectations weren't too high, but he expected to at least be partially satisfied with it.
Stopping at their designated meeting place, he leaned against one of the streetlamps lining the streets, the glow from the light itself and the receding evening saturating his surroundings wonderfully. He wore an easy smirk and his hands rested casually in his pockets as his piercing gaze rested on where miss Bellatrix Black would appear, entirely content in his wait for her.
Bringing her head to a slight tilt, Bellatrix searched for a brief moment with her perfectly manicured nails, before slipping on the second earring and then allowing her curls to fall back in place. Raising her head to better observe her reflection, she found herself smirking fondly at the way the hoops dangled and seemed to dance with each subtle turn she made. Giving a once-over of her entire appearance with her dark eyes, she then allowed a full smile to spread across her expression.
It had been such a long time, now, since she and that oh so fine man of hers had been out together on a proper date, since they had spent some quality alone time together. They had both been so busy lately, what with this new regime, and establishing themselves in it, and so many, many missions they'd been assigned, not to mention her baby sister's recent engagement... Why, they had hardly caught a breather! They had more than earned this. Just a bit of time to themselves, for themselves, for some harmless fun. It would be so pleasant, and relaxing. It always was with Rodolphus.
He was such a wonderfully stable person. So wonderfully sure of himself. So wonderfully charming. She had been looking forward to spending the evening with him since they had first arranged it. And, of course he had chosen a Mexican restaurant. That man and his strange interests. Not that she minded in the least, it was actually pretty funny, and she found that she was rather fond of the culture, herself. Granted, the people were always a bit dingy, and dim-witted, and there was something almost dirty about them, but that just made it so much easier to stand out next to them, for she and her gorgeous man to shine in all their lovely splendor. She honestly quite enjoyed being the best looking woman in the entire room, and having the chance to boast that she was standing beside the best looking man. They were always met with eyes of both envy and desire. Ahh...how she loved it.
She fluttered her eyelashes teasingly to herself, already envisioning the poor dears, and she felt the rising excitement once more for the evening ahead.
The young Black supposed she had wasted enough time, just messing around in font of her mirror, and hopefully, by now, her betrothed would have already arrived at their designated meeting place. She really didn't feel like waiting around for him, but...perhaps it also wouldn't be very nice to make him wait, either. So, with one final glance at her delightful reflection, she then took her wand from its resting place in her little black purse and promptly disapparated on the spot, only to appear in a nice, shaded little area of the otherwise deserted street, where no one would notice unless they were specifically looking for her. Which, as fortune would have it, a pair of beautiful, pale green eyes actually were.
A small smile returned to the corner of her mouth the moment she spotted him, standing there under the streetlamp, all illuminated and looking positively stunning. He always knew how to look just picturesque, though, didn't he? Walking up to her beloved, her hips sashaying with each step her heels made against the pavement, she wasted no time in resting a hand behind his head, her fingers spreading in those dark strands of his, and she gazed up at him beneath her long, black lashes.
"Hello, handsome," she purred, with a flirtatious glint in her dark eyes. Pulling him toward her, just a fraction, she couldn't help feeling thankful for these heels she always wore—they were so handy at times like these—and captured those enticing lips of his in a firm kiss.

And there she was. The exquisite beauty herself. A vision who had instantaneously, magically appeared before him in the deserted street. A goddess of the dying day, dressed to display that edge of danger she was so infamously known for. He loved that edge, but he also loved the sweet disposition she kept buried beneath it; something she reserved for only a very select, privileged few. It was his complete honor to receive and adore it.
He watched as those blood red lips quirked into a greeting smile, all confidence and completely effortless seduction as she began her approach, eyes striking and alluring in the golden, shadowed light. Those damn heels of her made their click in the otherwise silent space and he smirked at the endearing sound, knowing full well how much satisfaction it always brought her. But she wasn't focused on that at the moment. No, he currently had the pleasure of holding her complete focus, and he smirked all the wider at the thought. He made no move towards her, simply allowed her to approach all on her own, being the highly independent woman that she was in choosing to approach without any prompting on his part.
His gaze briefly lowered to the hypnotic movement of her hips before she reached him, admiring the motion, before returning his eyes to hers, the smirk softening on his face as he beheld her veiled stare, curtained by those long lashes. He remained still. taking pleasure in the way her hand spread through his hair and in the tone of her voice, before she reached up and pulled him towards her, taking his lips with hers without any hesitation. He always loved how she just took what she wanted, and it even made it all the more satisfying for him in instances such as these, knowing full well that he was currently all she wanted.
Closing his eyes, he lifted both hands, bringing one firmly around her laced waist, pulling her closer and deepening the kiss, before lifting the other behind her neck, where the long, thick curls brushed against his skin. He lingered in the kiss for a long moment, before pulling back slightly to gaze down at her, eyes narrowed fondly and his voice smooth and inviting. "Hello to you too, beautiful."
Bellatrix leaned into him when he pulled her closer, resting her free hand on his shoulder and enjoying the pleasant, aromatic scent he always wore, taking the opportunity to inhale that satisfying taste. She loved the way he so invitingly allowed her to take what she wanted, indulging her, while also wanting the same things himself. It was such a delightful arrangement they had, so good-natured. But then, she would never expect anything less of her charming man.
When he pulled back, gazing down at her with such loving eyes, she could feel her smile shifting, just a little. Less seductive and more...content. It was hard to describe how he made her feel, when she stopped to recognize just how genuinely and unquestioningly he adored her. It was a rare effect that no one else really had on her. He made her feel...at peace, while at the same time, igniting her ever-present desire to take the world by a storm. It was a beautiful contradiction.
"Thank you for always noticing," she returned, her tone still playful, and a single brow lifted in a perfect arch. "Though, I'm sure some credit must go to me. I make it so easy for you."

Rodolphus noticed the subtle shift in her gorgeous smile, loving it even more than the seductive quality. That content of hers. He loved how he could tamper that inner fire of hers, even if just a little. He loved how he singularly held the the ability to achieve such a thing with her. They were entirely exclusive to one another. She made him feel invincible; made him feel that, together, they could achieve anything in the world. They were unstoppable and they were unparalleled.
When she spoke it was playful, though the content in her eyes remained. He thoroughly enjoyed the many layers of her; the depths she possessed were truly fathomless. He could never imagine growing tired of her. She would endlessly stimulate him. There wasn't a single doubt of that in his mind. His own brow quirked in amusement, "Well, I'd be a fool not to notice, wouldn't I? It is, after all, so very obvious." He chuckled beneath his breath, hands remaining in position around her waist and along her neck respectively. "But yes, you deserve some of the credit here, though I appreciate your open gratitude for my attention."
"Of course, darling," she replied, with a teasing edge to her voice, as she gave his shoulder where her hand rested a light pat. "Why...," she fluttered her eyelashes up at him then, her dark brown eyes feigning nothing but innocence, as she remarked, "I hope you don't mean to imply that I, of all people, would ever withhold gratitude, when the occasion calls for it."
Hermione Granger: Ironically, the same thing happened to me. I'm glad you brought it up

Hermione Granger: It looks wonderful, though, doesn't it?

Draco Malfoy: It does I've been so excited for it since I first heard about it. Always been my favorite, after all. Combine that with you and it's nothing short of perfect. We definitely need to see it together.

Hermione Granger: Oh, we absolutely do! It's always been my favorite, too, but I know how much it's always meant to you. You've always sort of reminded me of how the prince was before he became the Beast, haha!

Draco Malfoy: Ha! Yes, and then somewhere during that whole transition...I became my father
